Last week has seen the Nikkei dropped 7% in a single day (and pulling down
most Asian markets; though US markets seemed to be able to hold ground and were
'not that impacted'). It would perhaps be helpful to know that Nikkei has
advanced 70+ % from the bottom in Nov 2012 - after advancing 70% in 6 months,
giving back 'some' can be expected.
Nevertheless, it is observed that markets generally remain jittery and
volatility can still be expected. However, most indices have their respective
40wk MA (longterm trend) firmly pointing upwards, telling us that trend of
the market remains up.
