Weekly Update (22/04/2013)

Our STI seems to be stuck within the range of 3265 - 3310. Coming weeks may have some volatility, as companies start reporting quarterly results.

Some volume is trickling back to Penny stock, but if you don't have time to monitor closely, it may not be good to jump into the action.

Currently, the 2 companies listed below, have got fundamentals supported. Have a look through.

As always, do your homework, plan your trade; and trade your plan.

OUE - for the Blue Chip Investor

What I like about this stock's movement is that if you look into the weekly chart, you will notice the volume and the upsurges are complimenting each other so well. It is like a well-choreographed dance piece.

Few weeks ago it has touched the height of $3.12 and "pull over to refuel" at $3.00. Now it is turning on the engine again. Last done price on Friday was $3.05. If it opens above $3.05 on Monday, it is a good time to take small bite and add on once it breaks above $3.12.

OUE owns and manage retail, commercial and residential properties that are situated in prime locations and hotel properties in gateway cities. Looking at property prices now, do you think there is a chance that OUE might just come out with a REIT to unlock the value of their properties?

Yongnam

Yongnam has broken the resistance of $0.30 on Friday and closed at 0.315. Volume has been increasing steadily, showing a conviction in the upward move.

Yongnam Holdings Limited is a leading Singapore based multi-discipline engineering and construction services provider with more than 30 years experience. Fundamentally speaking Yongnam's order books are healthy and they are currently eyeing an airport project in Myanmar.

Risk: The Group's two production facilities in Singapore and Nusajaya, Johor,
Malaysia. How will the Malaysian election unfold remains to be seen.

However we want to follow where the money is going so let's do what the charts tell us. Suggest to buy upon dips and add on upon break out.
